Once Upon a Mattress, "Quiet"
"Quiet," as licensed in Once Upon a Mattress, is a total mess. The vocal score does not line up with the script or the orchestral score. The script has different lyrics and arrangements than the orchestral and vocal score and the orchestral score has no indication of when or why any lyrics happen other than "Bravo, Bravo, Bravissimo" and the following screams. I threw out everything except for the temple blocks, dance break, and ending cadence. I reworked the song to feature the Queen, the Wizard, Sir Harry, and the entire ensemble. I arranged the round and set all the physical rhythms performed by the cast.As We Stumble Along from The Drowsy Chaperone
